In 1995 an experienced estate agent recognised
the need for a system to help manage the considerable paperwork and administration generated by a successful, busy lettings office.
None of the software packages on the market at that time were designed to support the day-to-day
'real time' tasks involved in running a lettings business. As luck
would have it, a talented designer and computer programmer had
just finished a complex database type system for a mutual friend who
introduced them.
This fortuitous meeting led to the development of a bespoke, server
based in-house solution and so the fledgling forerunner to today's Rentracker
System was born.
Over the years Rentracker was continually refined and improved through
heavy use and user feedback.. Its reputation started to spread and other estate agents bought server-based versions of the software.
With the incredible developments in internet technology we have seen
over the last few years and the with the obvious advantages of cloud
based systems, we are able to make Rentracker available to all independent lettings agencies via the internet
at a fraction of that original server-based systems price. |
